Trainee - Freshman Musical Theatre, Sophomore Musical Theatre

Ruby Tate is a Gold Coast based musician, music director and educator who is currently completing a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Voice) at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University. With over a decade of experience in both piano and voice, she has developed a strong background in musical theatre as a performer, accompanist and music director.

Ruby has worked across a variety of productions and creative projects, bringing her musical expertise and collaborative spirit to rehearsal rooms and performance spaces. Her recent music direction credits include 17 Again: The Musical, Chicago (Teen Edition), A Chorus Line (High School Edition), and Alice in Wonderland: The Pantomime, which she also wrote and directed.

As a passionate educator, Ruby enjoys helping young performers develop their musical skills and confidence on stage. She is excited to share her knowledge and love of musical theatre with the Sophomore and Freshman Musical Theatre classes this year.
